The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 1984.The main aim of our department is to facilitate quality education especially for socially and economically deprived younger generation. Our department has highly qualified Professors, Assistant Professors and Lab Instructors with different specialization. In addition to education excellence, all the faculties of civil department motivate the students to grow in self-discipline and self-confidence.
Civil Engineers are in great demand as the construction, maintenance and demolition of different projects like Harbour, Highway, Bridge, Railway, High Rise Building, Dam, Airport and Tunnel etc are increasing World Wide day by day. Civil engineering students have the opportunity to learn about Structural Planning, Designing and analysis by manual calculation methods and also by using various softwares like AUTOCAD, STAAD.Pro, PRIMAVERA 6, E-TAB, etc.

Civil Engineers have high scope in various Government Departments such as PWD, Highway, Surveying, Pollution control and Forest department, Thermal Power Plant, Nuclear Power Plant, ISRO, Air force, Navy, Military, Consultancy etc. They also have very good opportunities in abroad with very good package.
One day workshop on Industrial Engineering “RIBT-2015”was conducted in the year 2015.
